     Irregular   2023

The debut collective exhibition on parasitic architecture, produced during the Experimental Architecture Laboratory with students from Universidad La Salle Bajío.

                La Antorcha 2024

II Collective Exhibition of Parasitic Architecture.

This study analyzes a metropolitan icon in León, Guanajuato, characterized by critical urban-social pathologies and an advanced state of structural decay. The intervention explores the potential of a derelict site that has been marginalized from the city's functional fabric.

            San Juan de Abajo
2025

Concluding Collective Exhibition on Parasitic Architecture.

This final iteration examines the segregated district of San Juan de Abajo. Through a lens of long-term futurization, the project explores architectural interventions designed to resolve the inhabitants' requirements in the year 2100, envisioning a new urban reality for a marginalized community.

The Nest
2023

A semi-open gathering space for students, was originally conceived in 2018 as a project by my students and me at ITESM, Campus Leon. The core idea was to create a dynamic, adaptable structure where the roof could be changed periodically to meet evolving needs while the permanent steel frame remained.

The structure is intentionally oriented to provide shade from the intense sun during peak hours. Initially, we used colorful ribbons for the cover, but in 2023, I was asked to redesign the structure's canopy. For this new iteration, I chose to work with bamboo, a more environmentally friendly material.

This redesign offered a valuable opportunity to delve into the properties of bamboo, including its flexibility, ease of installation, and durability, making it a much more sustainable option. The result is a more organic design that stands out in a city where bamboo is rarely used in architectural projects. The shift to bamboo transformed "The Nest" into a truly unique, eco-conscious, and visually appealing space for the campus community.
